Idiom of the Week

What is an idiom?  An idiom is an expression or saying.  Idioms can be confusing because the meaning cannot be understood from the definitions of each word in the idiom.  It is figurative, not literal.  Still confused?  Check out a Dictionary of Idioms from our library!

Idiom:   like two peas in a pod
Meaning:  identical; alike in looks and behavior
Sentence:  Kyle and his brother are like two peas in a pod.
